Always curious. Still building.
ETC started at Erasmus in 2018, long before the current generative AI boom. The idea was simple: bring students closer to technology and the people building it.
From data and blockchain to artificial intelligence, our curiosity has always stretched beyond one technology. Talks, workshops and company visits gave it a place to grow.
That curiosity grew into EurHackNL: the largest student AI hackathon in the Netherlands. More than 500 students came together to turn ideas into things that worked.
AI was the focus of that event. Bringing students together to explore what technology can do has been the thread all along.
After eight years, our identity is catching up with our ambition. The rebrand gives that spirit a clearer voice: Build the impossible.
A new board carries it forward, with the same openness to technology and the next idea worth trying. The tools will keep changing. Our curiosity will keep us moving.
