From idea to prototype

EurHackNL 2026 was a student AI hackathon at Erasmus University Rotterdam. Erasmus Tech Community (ETC) organised it in collaboration with Erasmus Artificial Intelligence Society. Students from technical and non-technical backgrounds used AI-powered no-code tools to turn ideas into working prototypes.
The event welcomed students from multiple universities. Teams worked across four challenge tracks, with industry mentors, judges and masterclasses alongside the build.

What happened in the room?
BCG X and BCG Platinion supported the business challenge. DEPT and Framer ran masterclasses, and DEPT offered CV and portfolio reviews. The programme also included a panel on AI and the future of careers.
In its published reflections, BCG Platinion describes teams exploring loneliness in the business track and public safety and digital wellbeing in the open idea track.
